Our Story
It all started with a chocolate cake.
We've all eaten this cake. It’s maybe the one decadent dessert that is etched in our collective minds as a cherished childhood memory.
That memory, and nostalgia by extension, is what drives us. Our goal is to preserve that strong bond between memories and food through everything we make. To consistently deliver honest food - from bakes to savories, build friendships and memories, and an eclectic community of people who enjoy good food with all of the nostalgia, and none of the pretense.
And the magic? It’s in the Salt.
Salt by Flavia is my love letter to everyone for whom being unapologetically authentic is second nature, indulgence is a lifestyle, and sass is, well, a love language.

I love cake.
Making it staring at it eating it dissecting it! I've been in the kitchen since I could walk - from boarding school to pastry school, I'm having the time of my life. Salt! is a showreel of my memories and what is special to me.
Being small, carefully curated, and built with purpose only makes us saltier. In baking and in life, the process is the flavour. So, this time around, I'm doing things on my own terms, and at my own pace.
